RIYADH - SABA
Minister of Defense Maj. General Mohsen al-Daeri met today, Thursday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Yemen DO Bong-Kae.

Yemen-Korean bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the conversations.

The developments in Yemen amid the terrorist Houthi militias' continuous escalation was also touched upon.

General al-Daeri underscored the importance of supporting the Yemeni armed forces' capacities so that they can protect the oil facilities and the international shipping lanes in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea.

The Minister blamed the Iranian regime for prolonging the conflict in Yemen as it has continued to provide the Houthi terrorist militias with experts, weapons, missiles and drones.
