Deputy Governor of Marib, Dr. Abd Rabbuh Miftah, has launched a campaign to distribute sesame seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural inputs to 200 farmers in the governorate.
This initiative, implemented by the Coalition of Goodness for Humanitarian Relief, aims to develop the value chain and enhance the technical, financial, and commercial capacities of farmers.
The project, funded by the European Union, seeks to promote institutional and economic resilience in Yemen. As part of the initiative, five tons of sesame seeds, sufficient to cultivate 500 hectares, will be distributed to farmers, along with 30 tons of fertilizer, including 10 tons of urea fertilizer. Additionally, 400 sieves for harvesting seeds will be provided to enhance the agricultural and productive capabilities of farmers.
