The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Dr. Shaya al-Zindani discussed today, Monday, with the Foreign Minister of Slovakia Juraj Planar ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, develop joint cooperation in several fields and boost political coordination in international forums.

The talks took place on the sidelines of the Rome Euro-Mediterranean Dialogues Forum.

The conversations touched on the developments about the situation in Yemen and a number of current regional and international issues of common interest.

Dr. al-Zindani stated that the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) is very keen to achieve the permanent peace based on the agreed on international peace references.

The Slovakian Foreign Minister affirmed his country's support for the PLC, the Yemeni government and the UN-led efforts to make peace in Yemen.
