Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajjash met on Monday with Kato Kin, the Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Egypt and Yemen.
During the meeting, they discussed enhancing areas of mutual cooperation between Yemen and Japan in various developmental sectors.
Bajjash reviewed the latest developments in Yemen, highlighting the government's reform program, which aligns with Japan's supportive efforts for the Yemeni government.
He expressed his appreciation for the distinguished relations between Yemen and Japan, which have been exemplified through Japan's support for Yemen in several developmental areas.
For his part, the Chief Representative of JICA in Egypt and Yemen praised the role of the Foreign Ministry in coordinating with relevant authorities to projects in Yemen.
He expressed Japan's desire for further partnership in the upcoming period, which would open new horizons for bilateral relations between the two countries.
