Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak inspected today, Sunday, the work in progress on the project of the second phase of widening and repairing al-Abr highway, which connects the Republic of Yemen with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The second phase of the project aimed to repair 40 kilometers of the highway.

It is important to that the first phase of the project reconstructed 50 KM of this strategic international road.

There is still 40 KM more need to be repaired, the last part of the 130 KM of this international road .

This significant project is funded by the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen (SPDRY).
