The government has warned of a serious threat to the safety and security of international civil aviation over the southern Red Sea, following the reported use by the Houthi militia of Iranian-origin weapons launched from areas under its control in Hodeidah toward international air routes.

Vice Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basuhayb held discussions today, Thursday, with the newly appointed Director of the Office of the World Food Program (WFP) in Aden Layala Ajadi over joint cooperation and coordination about the WFP's interventions and projects.
The conversations touched upon the WFP's Plan to distribute the fourth round of the assistances of food and money as well as the pledges by the WFP to cover the costs of the fuels to operate water wells pumps to provide the people with water supplies.
The WFP's official explained that the organization will continue to work to provide assistance to the most needy groups in line with the plan and budget of the program's interventions throughout Yemen.
