Ataq airport receives first flight after a hiatus for years

Ataq International Airport in Shabwa governorate received today, Sunday, the first flight coming from Aden International Airport, after a halt of several years, via a plane belonging to the Belgian organization "Doctors without Borders" (MSF).
Governor of Shabwa Awadh bin al-Wazer warmly welcomed re-operating Ataq International Airport, voicing his pleasure that the airport received the first flight after the pause of flights for several years.
He also highly praised Belgian MSF's initiative to launch its first flight to Ataq airport, deeply appreciating its work at Ataq General Hospital for Maternity and Childhood.
