Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fishery Salem al-Soqatri held talks today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Charged' Affairs of the embassy of the People's Republic of China in Yemen Chu Ch'ing over bilateral cooperation in the two sectors of agriculture and fishery.

The two sides underscored the need to put in place the protocols of cooperation between the countries to further promote Yemeni-Chinese joint collaboration.

The Minister sought further Chinese cooperation to remove obstacles that make it quite difficult for the Yemeni agricultural and fishery products to access the Chinese markets.

Al-Soqatari highly appreciated the Chinese support for the agricultural and fishery sectors.

The Chinese diplomat confirmed his readiness to do his best to further boost bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
