Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak chaired a meeting of the Joint Operations Authority on Wednesday.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing the progress and performance of the authority and the tasks it has accomplished in unifying national efforts in the battle against the terrorist Houthi militia.
At the outset of the meeting, the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Security, Dr. Rashad Mohammad al-Alimi, and the members of the Council, and their appreciation for the major national mission they are carrying out in these exceptional circumstances.
He pointed to the centrality of the Joint Operations Authority in unifying the efforts of the various military components to achieve victory in confronting the terrorist Houthi militia and their sectarian agenda supported by Iran, which targets the security and stability of Yemen, the region and the world.
Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak listened to a briefing from the Minister of Defense, Major General Mohsen al-Daeri and the Chairman of the Joint Operations Authority, Major General Saleh Ali Hassan, on the work of the Joint Operations Authority, its future plans, and the operational situation across the theater of military operations.
They affirmed that everyone is working as one team to achieve coordination and harmony between all formations across the theater of operations, and to raise the level of coordination between all units of the armed forces in order to achieve the goal of establishing the Joint Operations Authority.
The Prime Minister expressed his pride in every soldier, non-commissioned officer, and fighter in all the battle fronts for the Republic and the State, noting the high combat readiness of the armed forces and all supporting formations and units, which have faced and continue to form a decisive shield against the Houthi militia on all axes and fronts of the fighting.
He emphasized that peace, stability, and development have always been our choice, approach, and project, in contrast to the project and culture of death and destruction adopted by the Houthi militias, which targets everyone without exception.
It must always be emphasized that our bet is on the armed forces, security, and resistance, and everyone who carries a rifle against this project, he said.
He affirmed that the government, under the guidance of the political leadership, will spare no effort to provide the necessary resources to improve the performance level of the Joint Operations Command.
