Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah discussed separately today, Thursday, humanitarian situations and the interventions in the governorate with officials from the Oxfam organization, World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Solidarities Organization.
He discussed Oxfam's Office Director in Marib Jose Antipenio the Oxfam's interventions in the upcoming period in the areas of food security, water, sanitation and sheltering.
Oxfam's official affirmed that the organization can contribute to the project of the governorate sanitation network due to its paramount importance in terms of health and development.
The Deputy governor discussions with WHO's official in Yemen touched upon the challenges facing the local authority and the WHO' needed intervention to help to improve health sector facilities' capacities.
Meftah also met with the Country Director of the International Solidarities in Yemen Steven Basten. They conferred over the organization's interventions in the previous period and planned projects in the coming stage.
