BAKU-AZERBAIJAN: Bulgaria, Azerbaijan Sign Declaration of Strategic Partnership

Presidents Rumen Radev of Bulgaria and Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan signed a declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries in Baku on Wednesday.

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported that the Bulgarian head of State is on an official visit to the country at the invitation of his Azerbaijani counterpart.

Other documents of bilateral interest for strengthening the cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan were signed, according to BTA.

These include a Joint Operation Agreement between Bulgaria Air and the Azerbaijani national air carrier AZAL. Also a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and Asarel Investment.

One more Memorandum of Understanding between the Bulgarian innovation Ministry and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan for cooperation in the field of technological innovations was signed too.
