Defense Minister meets with Acting-Chinese Ambassador in Aden

Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri met today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden with the Charged' Affairs of the embassy of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Shao Zheng.
General al-Daeri made it clear that Yemen's security and stability is very important for the region's stability and the security of the international maritime navigation."
He said "The Yemeni government's control over all Yemen's territories and restoring the state's institutions is prerequisite for securing the international shipping lanes".
The Minister welcomed the opening of the Chinese Consulate in the temporary capital Aden, describing it as very helpful.
The Chinese diplomat reiterated China's support for Yemen, its internationally recognized leadership and the UN-led efforts to make peace.
