Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

Parliament establishes Council for Coordination of Policies for Bulgarians Abroad

Voting in principle on Wednesday, the Bulgarian Parliament set up a council for the coordination of policies for Bulgarians residing abroad.

The bill submitted by the Bulgarian Council of Ministers.

The council will help to resolve coordination issues related to the preservation and dissemination of the Bulgarian language and culture among Bulgarian communities abroad, including the preservation of Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage, the Bularian news agency published.

"The council will issue guidelines and recommend actions for the reintegration of Bulgarians returning to Bulgaria, protect the rights and interests of Bulgarians abroad, synchronize the activities of programs and projects aimed at Bulgarian communities and their organizations outside the country"
