Taiz Governor discusses with Save the Children its 2024 interventions

Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan discussed Tuesday with Deputy Regional Director of Save the Children in Yemen Lowrance Oteick implemented projects in the province.

The two parties discussed interventions plan and humanitarian and developmental activities in 2024.

Governor Shamsan confirmed keenness of the local authority on providing different types of facilitations to the organizations to implement its humanitarian and developmental programs in the province.

He praised the projects implemented by the organization in health, nutrition and water fields and their keeping pace with needs of economic and social plans of the province.

For his part, the Deputy Regional Director of the organization in Yemen touched upon the projects implemented in field of curing war-affected children and implementing eight projects working by solar energy in the province's districts.

He also touched upon projects implanted by the organization in partnership with international and local organizations with the cost of USD 16 million during 2023 and expanding the organization's health and nutrition plans map in 2024.
