Al-Eryani discusses cooperation with Egyptian culture minister

Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani discussed Wednesday with Egyptian Culture Minister Dr. Niven al-Kailani means of cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The meeting touched upon improving and updating protocols signed between the two parties through forming a technical committee to study and improve them to meet technical developments of Yemen's cultural institutions.

Al-Eryani reviewed situations of the cultural institutions in Yemen and the systematic damages by Houthi terrorist militia that destroyed theaters and museums and cracked down on artists and educated people.

He praised Egyptian support to Yemen in different domains and the role played by Egypt and its cultural institutions in forming the cultural awareness of all Arab societies.

For her part, the Egyptian culture minister confirmed readiness of her ministry and all institutions affiliated with it to provide necessary support to its counterparts in Yemen.

She confirmed significance of enhancing cultural relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.
