Oil Minister discusses with Omani energy official mining cooperation

Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Saeed al-Shammasi discussed Wednesday with Omani Deputy Minister of Energy and Minerals Mohsen al-Hadhrami means of cooperation and joint work between the two countries in field of mining and energy.

The meeting, which has been held on the sidelines of Mining Conference is being held in Riyadh, a number of topics associated with promising investment opportunities and encouraging them.

Minister al-Shammasi confirmed significance of deep-rooting mutual relations between the two countries in field of cooperation and working in field of energy and minerals, enhancing efforts through forming joint committees to exchange information and studies to coordinate joint opportunities and working on providing facilitations to national companies in the two countries and making use of their expertise.

For his part, the Omani official confirmed readiness of cooperation between the two countries to activate joint investment opportunities between the two countries and encouraging them.
