Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affaires Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak has held talks Monday here with the First Deputy Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic on historical relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries and means of improving them.
The two parties agreed on signing a protocol for political consultation between the two ministries of foreign affairs, exchanging support in international forums and organizations, increasing scholarships to Yemeni students in Serbian universities within the program of " the World in Serbia," and creating partnerships for cooperations in other fields.
Latest developments in Yemen and the region were also discussed. BinMubarak touched upon Israeli occupation's genocides against civilians in Gaza Strip, calling the international community to take moral position towards those crimes and imposing imminent ceasefire and protecting civilians in the strip.
Atter the talks, the two ministers held press conference, where they confirmed their desire to enhance bilateral relations and Minister BinMubarak reiterated Yemen's position towards an immediate ceasefire in Gaza Strip and cessation of violations and crimes against civilians in the region.
