Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik welcomed today, Thursday, in the interim capital Aden the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic France to the Republic of Yemen Katherine Corm Kammoun.
He promised the government's all forms of support to help the Ambassador doing her job easily, further bolstering bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries.
Dr. Ma'een briefed Kammoun on the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena including the regional and international good offices and the UN-led efforts to establish peace amid the terrorist Houthi militia's intransigence and rejection to come to peace, besides the militia's unilateral measures to destroy the Yemeni national economy and worsening the humanitarian disaster.
The Prime Minister praised the French continuing support for the government and Yemeni people, appreciating the French friends' support for the government's plans and reforms program.
The French Ambassador reiterated her country's support for the Yemeni government's efforts to do its job, promising to do her utmost efforts to further boost cooperation between Yemen and France in the different fields, open new prospects for partnership.
