Yemen participates in Arab Committee's round on human rights

The Republic of Yemen has participated in the Exceptional Round of Arab Permanent Committee for Human Rights held in the Arab League's Premises by a delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Human Rights Nabeel Abdulhafeez.
The Exceptional Round discussed means of facing war crimes by Israeli Occupation against the Palestinian People in Gaza Strip through International prospect for human rights.
The convening parties confirmed the rights of the Palestinian people of establishing their state and their rights in defending themselves in accordance with the UN Chart and resolutions and the International Humanitarian Law.
They considered Israeli occupation's aggression against civilians in Gaza Strip war crimes and major violations to Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law rank to collective genocides.
They demanded in their recommendations to the Arab League Council to hold Israeli occupation accountable on their collective crimes against the Palestinian people.
The convening parties stressed necessity of demanding international and regional agencies, including human rights organizations and international justice to issue imminent positions towards these Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and exert necessary pressure to lift Israeli siege on Gaza.
