President al-Alimi receives letter from Chinese President

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Sunday a letter from President of China Xi Jinping on mutual relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them in different domains.

President Jinping confirmed in his letter, which has been delivered by Charge D'Affaires of Chinese Embassy in Yemen Chaw Ching, support of China to the Presidential Leadership Council to perform its tasks as demanded and the constructive role of regaining peace and stability in Yemen.

The Chinese President confirmed also pledge of Beijing in supporting Yemen's sovereignty, unity and territorial safety.

For his part, President al-Alimi asked the Chinese ambassador to convey his best wishes to the President Jinping, hoping him continuous health and happiness and more progress and prosperity to the Chinese people.

President al-Alimi praised Chinese firm position towards Yemeni people in different regional and international forums and towards the political leadership and people's aspirations of regaining state institutions, security and stability and ending suffering of Yemeni people over Houthi militia's triggered war with support from Iran.
