Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, discussed with the Head of the Coast Guard Service, Major General Khaled Al-Qomali, the level of readiness of the Coast Guard forces, the progress of work at the Coast Guards Authority, the challenges the Authority faces, and possible measures to improve its performance.
Brigadier General Tariq appreciated the efforts made by the Coast Guard to protect the country’s territorial waters and confront maritime threats.
He stressed the need to redouble efforts, raise the level of vigilance, and enhance coordination with forces deployed in the shoreline areas.
