The Head of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Agency Major General Ahmed al-Yafe'i met today, Wednesday, with newly appointed American Military Attaché to Yemen Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Peebles.

Aspects of Yemeni-American military and security cooperation was key focus of the discussions.

Cooperation about training and capacity building was elaborately discussed.

General al-Yafe'i also met separately today, with the French Military Attaché to the Republic of Yemen Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Ghodi.

The conversations focused on the French support for the Yemeni armed forces, mainly in the area of training and capacity building.
