Minister of Public Works and Roads, Engineer Salem Al-Hareez , discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with theDirector General of the Executive Unit for Internationally Funded Projects at the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, Eng.
Mahboob Al-Sabri, road projects in a number of liberated governorates, funded by the World Bank through the United Nations Office for Services Projects (UNOPS), under the supervision of the Internationally Funded Projects Unit of the Roads Fund.
The meeting touched on the plan for implementing projects distributed in the governorates of Aden, Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, HadHramout and Taiz, and the level of project implementation in the governorates in which project implementation work began.
Minister Al-Hareezy stressed the importance of internationally funded road projects, harnessing all aspects of international support to implement vital projects and serve citizens.
