Finance Minister Salem bin Breik discussed in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the European Union ambassador to Yemen and the German ambassador to Yemen today the latest developments in the economic and financial situation and peace efforts in Yemen.
The meeting also discussed the effects of the terrorist Houthi military escalation on the livelihood of the Yemeni people and on the state of pubic service supply, as well the Houthi terror attacks against vital oil exportation facilities and seaports and the impact of that on public revenues and finances.
The meeting also dealt with supporting the comprehensive reform program, accelerating its implementation, providing more support to improve general conditions, achieving stability and economic improvement, as well as supporting capacity building of the Ministry of Finance and its affiliated departments to face the challenges facing the national economy.
