His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimin, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) paid a visit today, Sunday, to the UK's embassy premises in Yemen to extend condolences on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the UK to Ambassador of the UK to the Republic of Yemen Richard Oppenheim and the embassy' staffs.
He expressed his own and on behalf of the PLC members' sadness for the death of Queen Elizabeth II, describing Her Majesty as an example for wisdom, competence and dedication to serve her own country and nation over the past seven decades.
The Chairman of the PLC voiced his heartfelt condolences to His Majesty King Charles III of the Great UK and friendly British people, wishing His Majesty all the best in his mission, further bolstering bilateral relations between the two countries in different fields.
The President penned a remark in the visits register in which he expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the UK's supportive stances in support of the Yemeni peoples and legitimate leadership in different stages.
