Local Education Group discusses educational final report

The Local Education Group discussed Tuesday the final approval of the financial donation document provided by the World Bank and International Education Partnership to the Education and Learning Project.

Headed by Minister of Education Abdullah Lamlas and attended by representatives of international organizations, the meeting approved procedural plan for finalizing presentation of the project.

The financial cost of the project reached USD 153.8 million, 100 million provided by the WB and 53.8 by the International Education Partnership.

Composed of three basic components, the project targets supporting teachers, school feeding, educational materials, improving schooling environment, maintenance works, alternative education and boosting local capacities.
