Ramzi Ahmad Mahrous and Naser al-Khadher al-Sawadi were sworn in on Thursday before President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi as governors to Socotra Archipelago and to Baidha' Province.
In a meeting after the oath, President Hadi directed governor of Baidha' to exert efforts for integrating the popular resistance and the national army in the province and work with all social categories for liberating the rest districts from Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
He confirmed providing necessary support and facilitations to the governor for this purpose.
He discussed with governor of Socotra situations in the province and aftermaths of cyclones and climate changes hit the province recently, praising efforts of the Arab Coalition for the support they provided to the Yemeni people in different conditions and situations.
The two governors expressed their pleasure for the confidence they were granted by President for their appointing, confirming they will do their best to implement his directives.
