If it weren't for Iranian conspiracy, Yemen would be stable, says Hadi
[13/10/2017 07:06]

RIYADH-SABA
President Abdu R. MansoutHadi said it "if it weren't for the Iranian malicious conspiracy through its spiteful stooges, the Saleh-Houthi militias, Yemen would have been a politically stable and developing federal state" by now.

In an address to the nation on Friday, the eve of the 14th October Revolution,Hadi attacked the militias for the coup of 21September 2014, afterthe conclusion of the National Dialogue Conference (March 2013 – January 2014) whereby Yemeni stakeholdersnegotiated a historical agreement for peaceful changeand transforming into a democratic federal state.

The Dialogue "closed the issues of the past for good … but the attempts going on to re-open those issues now in some provinces are desperate and we will not allow them," he said.

"For three years, the country has been locked in a comprehensive battle, imposed on us by the enemies of life who took over and kidnapped all that they could; blood, money, weapons and properties of the citizens. [Enemies who] wanted to turn Yemen into a bomb that blows up the region in its entirety."

Hadi hailed the formation of the Arab Coalition which has been backing the government against the coupers saying it is "an unprecedented step in the history of our Arab world."

"The launch of the Decisive Storm operation and the formation of the Arab Coalition under the leadership of my brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is an event that holds promises and, God willing, ushers in a new Arab landscape."
