Riyadh (Saba)- Vice President Ali Saleh Mohsin on Tuesday met here in Riyadh with US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tuller, highlighting that fighting terrorism, laying down the foundations of the state and restoration of its institutions are primary objectives of the legitimate government.
The vice president highly valued efforts exerted by the US Administration in fighting terrorism, indicating that the Arab-Islamic-American Summit held in Riyadh this week came up with fruitful results which will enhance cooperation in realizing international peace and security, combating extremism and terminating Iranian interventions.
He also referred to the crimes made by the Houthi-Saleh militias against the Yemenis, emphasizing that the legitimate government backed by Saudi Arabia and other countries of the Arab Coalition seeks to achieve security and stability, and put an end to the suffering of Yemenis.
For his part, the US ambassador reiterated his country's deep commitment to achieve peace in Yemen and its readiness to cooperate in fighting terrorism and extremism.
