Foreign Minister and Expatriates Affairs Dr. Afrah a-Zouba expressed thanks and gratitude to the Federal Republic of Germany for its significant political support for the Yemeni government and developmental assistance to the Yemeni people.
" We're grateful to Germany for its support to the Yemeni government and people", al-Zouba said.
She voiced her remark during her talks today, Thursday, with the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany Johann Waddifol, on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Al-Zouba highly praised Germany's positions against Houthi militias' attacks, appreciating the German contributions to European efforts to protect freedom of navigation in the Red Sea.
The conversations covered Yemeni-German bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as the repercussions of the escalation by the Houthi terrorist militia on the security of Yemen, the region and international navigation.
The German minister reaffirmed Berlin's support for the Yemeni government and people, restating Germany's commitment to Yemen's unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity
