Yemeni Ambassador to Turkey Mohammed Tareeq met Monday with Turkish Migration Authority President Mohammed Yazıcı to discuss residency and immigration issues facing Yemenis in Turkey.
Tareeq raised humanitarian and family cases requiring attention and welcomed Turkish cooperation in addressing the community’s concerns.
Yazıcı reaffirmed the authority’s readiness to coordinate with the embassy and handle the issues raised within Turkish law.
The two sides stressed the importance of continued cooperation between Yemen and Turkey.
