The Yemeni Ambassador to Türkiye, Mohammed Tareq, met on Wednesday with the President of Türkiye’s Council of Higher Education, Professor Erol Özvar, to discuss bilateral relations between Yemen and Türkiye and ways to strengthen cooperation in higher education, scientific exchange, and vocational training.

The two sides reviewed issues concerning Yemeni students in Türkiye and discussed ways to address challenges affecting their studies.

They also explored means of supporting outstanding students and encouraging academic excellence, in addition to examining prospects for cooperation in technical education and vocational training to help build capacities and prepare qualified Yemeni professionals.
