Minister of State and Governor of Aden Abdulrahman Sheikh met on Monday with Chairman of the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Authority Major General Tariq Al-Nassi to discuss the authority’s workflow, procedures carried out in accordance with the law, and efforts to modernize operations and facilitate services for citizens.
During the meeting, Governor Sheikh was briefed on the level of progress achieved in automated issuance services and other public services provided by the authority, as well as coordination mechanisms with relevant institutions, particularly the Revenue Development Center in Aden, in a manner that serves the public interest.
The governor reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to supporting the efforts of the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Authority and addressing challenges affecting its operations to ensure faster and more efficient services for citizens in Aden.
