Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Mohammed Bamqaa discussed Tuesday with the German Ambassador to Yemen Thomas Schneider ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in the field of energy.

During the meeting, Minister Bamqaa reviewed the map of promising investment opportunities in the oil and gas sectors, affirming the ministry’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities to German companies and international investors.

The meeting also emphasized the government’s full support, as the main guarantor of stability and protection of investments in the country.

For his part, Ambassador Thomas Schneider expressed his country’s interest in developing economic partnership with Yemen, affirming Germany’s support for the government and its efforts to advance vital sectors.
