Yemenia Airways has announced the resumption of its air services between the temporary capital Aden and the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, starting at the beginning of January 2026.
The Deputy General Manager of Yemenia Airways for Commercial Affairs, Mohsen Haidarah, said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “the national carrier, Yemenia Airways, has obtained approval to resume operating flights from Aden to Abu Dhabi starting on January 10, with two flights per week on Saturdays and Tuesdays.”
Haidarah added that the resumption of flights from Aden to Abu Dhabi comes within the developmental and expansion plans and directions of Yemenia Airways, represented by the Chairman of the Board, Captain Nasser Mahmoud.
These plans aim to strengthen the company’s aircraft fleet, expand its flight destinations from Aden Airport and airports in the liberated governorates to a number of regional, Arab, and international capitals and cities, and to provide the best services to its traveling customers, he said.
