Assistant Undersecretary for Sectoral Affairs at the Coast Guard Service Brigadier General Musaad Asaad discussed Wednesday with French Ambassador to Yemen Catherine Corm-Kammoun ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of maritime security.
The meeting also discussed the French support mechanism within the Yemeni Maritime Security Partnership Program, which aims to develop capabilities, enhance coastal protection, and combat illegal activities.
The two parties confirmed importance of continuing joint cooperation and coordination to enhance regional maritime security and common interests.
