BARCELONA-SABA
Barcelona secured an exciting 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad, climbing to the top of the Spanish La Liga standings after overturning a goal deficit, thanks to goals from Jules Koundé and Robert Lewandowski in each half.

Sociedad took the lead against the run of play in the 30th minute through former Real Madrid right-back Álvaro Odriozola, who started for the first time this season after his teammate Jon Aramburu was injured during the warm-up.

In the 43rd minute, Barcelona finally managed to equalize after Rashford took a corner kick that reached Koundé inside the penalty area and the French defender headed it towards the goal. Lewandowski scored the second goal in the 58th minute.

With this victory, Barcelona increased their tally to 19 points, moving one point ahead of Real Madrid, while Real Sociedad's tally remained at five points after suffering their fourth loss of the season.

Barcelona, which has achieved five consecutive victories in all competitions, will play against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, before continuing its defense of the Spanish league title when it visits Sevilla next Sunday.
