The Governor of Lahj, Major General Ahmed Turki, met with a team from the World Food Programme (WFP) led by Representative of the WFP Regional Office Tobias Flämig. The meeting aimed to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and provide humanitarian aid to the province.
Governor Turki emphasized that the halt in humanitarian aid has placed an additional burden on citizens, particularly in remote rural areas that were inadequately covered by previous field surveys.
