Gold prices rose slightly today, Thursday, hovering near all-time highs, amid lingering concerns about US President Donald Trump's tariff strategies.

Spot gold rose 0.2 percent to $2,938.57 an ounce, after hitting a record high of $2,946.85 yesterday, Wednesday.

U.S. gold futures rose 0.7 percent to $2,955.20.
