Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi sent a congratulatory cable to President Ahmed al-Shara, congratulating him on the occasion of assuming the position of President of Syria for the transitional period.

Al-Alimi expressed sincere congratulations to al-Shara, and wished him success for him in his presidential duties, and peace and prosperity for the Syrian people.
