The consumer price index, the main determinant of inflation in France, rose to 1.3 percent in November from 1.2 percent in October.
The French National Institute of Statistics (INSE) said in a statement that consumer prices rose amid the decline in food prices and the rise in the prices of services.
The INSE reported that the harmonized inflation rate adjusted for comparison with other countries in the euro area increased to 1.7 percent in November compared to 1.6 percent in October this year.
