Australia's consumer price index (inflation) rose by 2.1 percent in the 12 months to October 2024.

The Head of price statistics at the Bureau of Statistics Michelle Marquart said in a statement that the annual inflation rate in October at 2.1 percent is the lowest annual inflation rate since July 2021.
