Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak has emphasized the necessity of enforcing the clamp-down campaigns against money exchange business involved in currency speculation and other currency abuses in all liberated governorates.
The Prime Minister laid emphasis on coordination amongst security and judicial authorities to protect the national currency whose devaluation leaves impact on the lives and livelihoods of the public.
He followed up on the outcomes of the campaigns carried out in the interim capital Aden, as carried out by the Public Funds Prosecution, during which a number of currency exchange businesses were caught speculating with and otherwise abusing currency and, as a result, were shut down.
