Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak received today, Tuesday, in the transitional capital Aden, the Ambassador or the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Yemen Mostafa Pollat.
Yemeni-Turkish bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the discussions.
The two sides underscored the importance of putting into effects the agreements which were signed between the two countries to promote bilateral cooperation, establish development partnerships.
Turkish humanitarian and developmental interventions in Yemen, mainly in higher education, health and training were also touched upon.
The Prime Minister hailed Yemeni-Turkish relationship as historic and deeply rooted, highly appreciating Turkish steadfast position on the side of the internationally Yemeni recognized government and its efforts to restore the state's institutions and eliminate the Iran-backed Houthi militias' coup.
The Turkish Ambassador reaffirmed Ankara's support for the Yemeni people and the Yemeni government's efforts to mitigate the humanitarian suffering.
