Al-Khanbashi: It's Important To Expand Mandates Of Local Authorities, Furthering Decentralization
The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Hadramout governorate Salem al-Khanbashi underscored the importance of authorizing local authorities in the governorates broader powers in order to be capable to do their jobs effectively and contribute toward promoting the principle of administrative decentralization and bringing decision-making closer to the needs of the local community.

Gold prices edged down on Tuesday as the dollar traded near its seven-week high while the market awaited the release of the Federal Reserves's last meeting minutes and economic data.
Gold fell in spot transactions by 0.2 percent, to $ 2639.45 per ounce. US gold futures fell by 0.3 percent, to $ 2658.70.
