Bulgarian gov't will do everything to keep ancient city of Nessebar on UNESCO List, says Minister

Bulgaria will do everything necessary to keep the Ancient City of Nessebar on the UNESCO World Heritage List, said caretaker Tourism Minister Evtim Miloshev during his meeting with UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Culture Ernesto Ottone at the headquarters of the international organization in Paris.

Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported that Miloshev stressed that Bulgaria is working on implementation of the recommendations of the World Heritage Committee with the aim of preserving the status of the Ancient City of Nessebar in the World Heritage List.

It is important to note that Bulgaria with the decision of the World Heritage Committee that Bulgaria will host the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee in 2025, according to BTA.
