The Yemeni people are commemorating the 34th anniversary of their National Day, May 22, amidst ongoing efforts on national, regional, and international levels broker an end to the war ignited by the terrorist Iranian-backed Houthi militia, and realize permanent peace.
This occasion is epitomizes the noble principle of unity of the blessed Yemeni revolutions, represented by the glorious 26 September revolution against the theocratic Imamite reign and the glorious October 14, revolution against the British colonialism of the south of Yemen.
Yemen's National Day this time also coincides with the country and the nation experiencing a multitude of challenges in various areas of life, and the worsening human suffering of Yemenis, as the Houthi war enters its tenth year.
