RIYADH-SABA
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Othman Mujalli met today, Thursday, with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to the Republic of Yemen Abda Sharif.
Yemen-British bilateral relations and cooperation, fighting terrorism and the Israeli violations and crimes in Gaza Strip were key focus of the discussions.
Mujalli underscored the importance of the UK's support for the PLC's efforts to bring about the economic stability and social peace as well as to end the war that imposed by Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia.
He stressed that the three terms of the peace references have been and they will continued to be the base upon which any consultations over peace should be based to achieve the fair, comprehensive and durable peace, as they are internationally and nationally endorsed , therefore, they must be a start-up point to launch the project for building Yemen and the state's institutions that Houthi militias' coup destroyed.
The Member of the PLC strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' atrocities and violations against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and other Palestinian territories, criticizing the international community's silence toward the Israeli genocides and annihilation war.
The British Ambassador has confirmed her country's continuing support for the PLC and the Yemeni people to end the conflict and make peace.
She stated that Britain and the international partners are keen to establish peace in Yemen through supporting the efforts of the UN's Special Envoy Hans Grundberg.
