President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. Ministers of Water and Environment, Eng. Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Major General Salem Al-Soqtari, Public Health and Population Dr. Kassem Buhaibeh participated today in the Sustainability and Government Action Forum organized by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development of the League of Arab States in partnership with the Government of the United Arab Emirates in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The forum discussed innovative sustainable policies, the importance of the green economy as a strategic priority for Arab governments, in addition to the readiness of Arab governments for a sustainable future.

The forum witnessed the launch of the report on the status of Arab governments "Sustainability and Green Government", which would contribute to raising the readiness of Arab governments to achieve sustainability and confront climate change and the economic and social challenges associated with it, and explore future sectors that achieve contributions to Arab development by defining proactive climate policies, visions and actions and focusing on flexibility.
