The head of the Central Agency for Statistics, Dr. Safaa Moati, met today in the interim capital, Aden, with the delegation of the European Union mission to Yemen.

Dr. Moati appreciated the support provided to the agency through the FAO in economic statistics, calling for the expansion of support to include all the specialized system in the agency in order to achieve the highest quality in the data implemented by the agency through support in building technical and human capacities.

She touched on the achievements, participations, and projects implemented by the Agency, as well as the obstacles, difficulties, and aspects of support that can be provided to the Agency to achieve further progress and continuity.
